Hello and thank you so much for visiting my website, my name is Marie and I hope my passion for photography has enthralled you.
I consider myself as a wedding/portrait photographer that has a photojournalistic style. Capturing true moments is captivating all on it's own.
Photography to me, is not just about taking a photo and relinquishing it to the public as is. To me, photography is about story telling and evoking emotion. There are 2 questions I ask myself before every shot: Did that shot make sense? What emotion am I trying to draw from that shot? Without truly having that connection as a photographer and the moment, then that shot alone is undesirable. Every shot has to have that desire and passion.
I found my passion as a photographer about 6 years ago and have not stopped growing as a professional. Everyone has a goal to become successful at what they do, but with me my goal is about my work. How can I make each shot after another better. Working at my craft on a constant basis and never being stagnant is what I strive for. Being driven is what separates me from all the other photographers out there.
I'm very blessed to be working with a partner that I trust ever so dearly, my husband. He is very motivating and has always supported me in every decision I have made. My husband is my second shooter as well as my lighting guy. It's so great working with him because he already knows and understands what I need during photo shoots. Having that trust and connectivity makes our work so much easier. Plus, it's great hearing from clients how well we work together.
